Tanushree Dutta's sister, Ishita Dutta to play the lead in Raakesh Paswan's next on Star Plus; Narendra Jha and Somesh Agarwal roped in

Tellychakkar.com was the first to report that Rahul Sharma and Sachin Chhabra have been cast as leads in Raakesh Paswan’s (Village Boy Productions) next show on Star Plus, tentatively titled ‘Hum Saath Saath Hai’. We now get you the name of the female lead cast in the show. Surprise!! Surprise!! As it is Bollywood bombshell Tanushree Dutta’s younger sister, Ishita Dutta who has been roped in to essay the female lead. Earlier, rookie actress Priyanka Khandelwal was to bag the lead role, but things got changed. Ishita has been cast opposite Rahul Sharma who was earlier seen in Beyond Dream’s episodic story of Star Plus’ Teri Meri Love Stories. The show will have the backdrop of Uttar Pradesh and the unit plans to shoot their first outdoor schedule in Kanpur. Along with Ishita, talented actor Narendra Jha who was last seen in Colors’ Havan and Life OK’s Hum Ne Li Hai.. Shapath has been cast to play a pivotal role. Along with him, senior actor Somesh Agarwal of ‘Nukkad’ fame has also been roped in. A certain section of the media has already reported about Pyumori Mehta being part of the show. We tried contacting Narendra Jha, but he refused to comment. We tried our level best to get a confirmatory quote from Producer Raakesh Paswan, but he chose not to talk. The shoot of the show is scheduled to start in the next few days. For the uninitiated, Raakesh Paswan has earlier produced shows like Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo for Imagine and Afsar Bitiya for Zee TV.
