Team Aankh Micholi shoots for its last episode; show to end on a happy note

With Rajan Shahi’s next Aur Pyaar Hogaya replacing it, the Gautami Kapoor and Manav Gohil - starrer Zee TV offering Khelti Hai Zindagi … Aankh Micholi (Esselvision Productions) is all set to bid adieu on 3 January 2014. The cast and crew shot for its final sequence yesterday (30 December 2013). So, how will this story end? As seen so far, since Shruti (Gautami Kapoor) is suffering from AIDS, Sanjay’s mother Prabha (Shoma Anand) wants her to maintain a safe distance from her son as well as the rest of the family. In fact, Prabha has started treating Shruti as an untouchable though Sanjay (Manav Gohil) has stood by her all along. However, in the upcoming episodes Prabha will accept Shruti as she will realise her mistake. Thus, it will be a happy ending for one and all. The cast and the crew had a biryani party on the sets last night post-the shoot of their last episode. When we contacted Rishina Kandhari, better known as Riddhi in the show, she said, “We all weren’t really expecting the show to end so soon but then it was the channel’s decision.” When asked about the last day on the sets, she averred, “We were all sad as the show is going off-air but just to make the atmosphere better, we threw a biryani party and also clicked lots of pictures.” We also tried contacting Manav and Gautami but they remained unavailable for comment. We wish the team all the luck in their future endeavors!!!
