The 'mother' in Lata Sabharwal declines Nach Baliye 6 offer

Star Plus’ biggest dance reality show Nach Baliye 6 has been in the headlines for some time now as the makers Frames Productions are now in the process of finalizing the contestants. As we know, some big names have been approached and media has been writing about it. We now hear that Lata Sabharwal and Sanjeev Seth who are presently seen as a couple in the long-running Star Plus show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai had been offered a chance to participate in Nach Baliye 6. As per our sources, Lata and Sanjeev were indeed keen on taking up the project. They had even got to the final stage, which is to sign on the dotted lines when they had an afterthought regarding their participation. Post this, they declined the offer. When we heard of this, we decided to talk to Lata to know more on the decision. “Well, we were offered Nach Baliye. To tell you the fact, we got an offer even for the last year. I was pregnant then, and could not take it up. This year, we wanted to participate and had almost accepted the offer too. We were very close to finalization when I got the feeling that I cannot manage my shoot for Yeh Rishta and Nach Baliye along with taking care of my four month old son, Aarav. As you know, I shoot for only few hours in a day for Yeh Rishta. Though I am back to acting post my delivery, Nach Baliye will demand lot of hours and dedication. Also, we would want to give our best shot at the reality show, if we take it up. Considering all this, we refused the offer. Hopefully, if we get offered for the dance reality show next year, we will take it up as Aarav will be over a year then.” That’s a sweet mother calling the shots!!
