There are times when I have tears in my eyes while reading the script: Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye actor Zaan Khan aka Randhir

I worked hard day and night for this character. I used to sleep for hardly 2-3 hours, used to go to gym religiously and I cannot describe in words how happy I am to receive such a response, shares Zaan

MUMBAI: Zaan Khan is a talented actor.

He has impressed the masses with his talent as Randhir Raizada in Sony TV’s one of a kind drama Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye and the audience loves his chemistry with actress Gracy Goswami.

Talking about the challenges he faces while playing the character of Randhir, Zaan, in an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar.com said, “I was initially very tensed when I was described this character as the role is very subtle, talks good urdu and Sanskrit very well and his thought process towards women is different as during that era, he did not have traditional beliefs towards women. I did not know if people would like the character and I worked hard day and night for this character. I used to sleep for hardly 2-3 hours, used to go to the gym religiously and I cannot describe in words how happy I am to receive such a response.”

“Be it any scene, the dialogue delivery has been the point of focus where the quality of Hindi spoken is very pure. The character is required to be so convincing that he has so much passion and love in his personality. Zaan is a very emotional person so there are times when I have tears in my eyes when I am reading the script. I am a method actor and I love living the character I am playing. My producers are happy that I am living each aspect of my character. If Amrit feels bad, I start feeling bad in real life! I am trying to do my level best to do justice to how beautifully Randhir has been crafted, “he added.
