MUMBAI: Jaya Bhattacharya needs no introduction.

The celebrity has not only been seen in an array of films and television serials but has a number of accolades to her credit. Infact, each of her performance has been distinguished and impactful.  Be it her stint in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Thapki Pyar Ki, Gangaa, Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka, Delhi Crime among many other serials or her current project being Pinjra Khoobsurti Ka, Jaya has always perfected and got into the skin of every character she has played so far.

In conversation with Jaya, we asked her about her rapport with her colleagues and shooting with the younger lot on the show. 

Jaya shared, “The younger lot is great fun to work with. We are all like a family and it is a pleasure to work with Anindita (Chatterjee). She is comparatively new and she is very innocent which makes us gel well and we are left in splits talking to each other. The set is extremely positive in terms of actors and we share lunches together. Sahil (Uppal) and I hit it off and there is great respect for each other because Sahil is a very dedicated actor and this character was not supposed to be as black and negative as it is planned later but that has not deterred Sahil from performing his best and I really admire him for that as he doesn’t have those tantrums about his character entering transitions. He is a calm and contained boy.  

 Infact, Harishji (Chabbra) and I also hit it off from the first day itself. Gautam (Vig) is also very naughty as a person and Riya (Sharma) is also a fine actress. The concept of the show is very beautiful and Colors always brings interesting concepts to offer. “
