William Shakespeare once asked, "What's in a name?" But looks like the show makers of our entertainment industry beg to differ with this great man of words. Why are we making such a reference? Well, two big production houses in the tellydom, namely Balaji Telefilms and Jay Mehta Productions, seem to be entering into a tussle over the title of their respective shows.

It is well out that both the makers are churning out two big budget shows for Zee TV. Now, Balaji's show got commissioned and it got christened as Tere Ishq Nachaye. But folks, then came a twist in the tale. The channel has gone ahead and given the same title for Jay Mehta's show. Will it lead to confusion and ruckus? You bet!
The Balaji venture (co produced by writer Saba Mumtaz-Red Blue White Films) has actors like Saraa Khan and Rajev Paul. It has been pushed till September 2012; hence the channel has given their title to Jay Mehta Productions as it will hit the floors earlier.
When contacted Saba, she sounded shocked when we informed her about the development. Then she quoted, "I really have no idea about this. Give me some time to figure out. But I don’t think this can happen as the title Tere Ishq Nachaye is registered with Balaji Telefilms and Saba Mumtaz."
We also called up producer Jay Mehta. He confirmed that his new show is called Tere Ishq Nachaye but when we told him that it belonged to a Balaji show, he said, "I have no idea about anything else. All I know is that our show is called Tere Ishq Nachaye."
Now this is what we call title-of-war!!!
