On the small screen, he might be the laziest one around, but in real life Titu aka Priyanshu Jora of Tu Mera Hero is a really active guy. At least that's what he declares!
Having found his footing as an actor in Anil Kapoor’s 24, the actor is enjoying being a part of the above male-centric project on Star Plus (Shashi Sumeet Productions Pvt Ltd).
When quizzed whether he expected such a great response, Priyanshu quipped, “It was a wish that fortunately came true. I knew it has a risk and I won’t lie that I was scared! But thankfully, the show is shining bright, achieving little feats on its way. I think it is a blessing for me that the production and channel chose me for this beautiful show. Also, surprisingly, we have a great fan following among kids as they adore Titu.”
We asked the actor whether he feels this show would have been a better choice as a debut for him. “Not at all, I feel everything happens for a reason. Be it 24 or all the other auditions where I wasn’t chosen, every project has been equally important. I stand by all and they have been a part of my journey in the industry.”
Answering about our query on whether he would let a girl fend for him, Priyanshu said, “I believe in equality and I am someone who encourages people to work. Not just to earn, but also to enjoy the pleasures of working.”
On a lighter note, when we asked him for an advice for Titu, the actor said, “Nothing in particular as I feel the he is a great guy. To find a person with such a brilliant sense of humour, a kind heart, and such love for his family is hard to find. The only problem is that he doesn’t earn, which I think should not be taken as a criteria to judge someone.”
Finally, talking about the way he chills, Priyanshu said, “I love watching films and I was cribbing about the same to my mother the other day. Since I hardly get time to chill, movies have been piling up on my wish list. And when I do get time, I feel like sleeping. But yes, next time I get an off, I would love to travel out of the city,” he added.
