TV frat congratulates SRK on turning 54

Shah Rukh Khan is turning 54 this year. Here is what the TV fraternity has to say about this superstar.

ANKIT BATHLA

For me, Kuch Kuch Hota hai still holds a great impression. I really like that film and I can watch over and over again. So definitely that's my favourite SRK film. SRK is very successful today because he is really intelligent. He is also a businessman more than just being an actor. He is a workaholic, which I think drives everything because he does not say no to anything, and he is always working day and night.

 ROHITASHV GOUR

Shah Rukh khan is now 54 years old, and he still has the same stardom that he had in his prime. He has been an inspiration to the youth as well as for me because he is not the son of any star. He started his career from a television show Fauji, and step by step, by polishing his skill, he made it big here. My favourite film is DDLJ as it is still running in theatres! He had done great work in Chak de! India too. He is a very talented and knowledgeable guy. His spontaneous answers to every question are unbelievable. I wish him a very happy birthday.

REHAAN ROY

Shah Rukh Khan Sir is not just a legend for the film industry, but he is also an inspiration for almost every aspiring actor. One thing that inspires me the most about Mr Khan is that he is a self-made actor. He had no family member from the film industry, yet he made it to the top. I have always been a fan of King Khan and his movies. Amongst his movies, Kuch Kuch Hota hai, K3G, Veer Zara and Chak de India are my most favourite ones.

VIJYENDRA KUMERIA

Whenever there is a romantic scene that comes my way, a glimpse of SRK passes through my mind...whenever I feel a lack of conviction in any scene, I think how convincingly SRK would have performed it if given to him... no doubt he is an inspiration for us...  Baazigar is a film that is my SRK favourite film... the way he made people fall in love with his grey character is so inspiring. If you see the shows that I have done so far, I have portrayed a character that has a journey from negative to positive... SRK is the inspiration source for me

 SHRIDHAR WATSAR

SRK is among those actors who made his career all by himself. He is a self-made man, who likes challenges. I like his passion. His stardom is far different from other actors. I wish SRK sir a very happy birthday. Stay healthy, stay passionate. My favourite films of him are Darr, Baazigar, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na, Chak de, Swades
I like Baazigar because of his angry young man swag. And Swades and Chak de for his controlled, subtle performance.

 ARJUN BIJLANI

His talent and his ability to stay humble and loving even today is something that I love about Shah Rukh Khan. He is completely mesmerizing on screen and is such an inspiration to all actors.

 DALLJIET KAUR

Shahrukh Khan is known for being a big success obviously for a million reasons. Not only is he a fabulous artist but also because he is a very good businessman. He is known to be the most intelligent entrepreneur today. Also, I think his humility, earthiness are very striking which makes him more attractive. In Nach Baliye, he declared me the winner, hugged me and then talking to me very politely. His gestures were so beautiful. I think all actors like him need to be around for a long long time to entertain and inspire us. I want to wish him a very long and healthy life. I loved Kuch Kuch Hota hai and DDLJ.

 MANUJ NAGPAL

SRK is such an inspiration. His energy level is still the same, from Deewana till now, and I think his passion and love towards his acting and camera has made him a superstar, I love most of his films and I can't name one but Bollywood's most romantic film DDLJ is an all-time favourite for me too. Here’s wishing more and more success and health to the Badshah of Bollywood.

 SACHIN PARIKH

He is blessed with a tremendous level of confidence within him, a positive approach, smart mind, and more than 100% determination and conviction of what he wants in life. These are the key qualities that made him reach here today. I wish him a very happy birthday on his 54th birthday and wish he keeps giving us the best of his performances in this coming year too.

 JASMIN BHASIN

What has made SRK a star is his never-give-up attitude. In my past, I have collaborated with him in shows such as tashane-e-ishq. He started from a TV and worked so hard. He was getting all that success but still, he managed to stay so humble. When I see him shooting, I can’t believe that how can such a big, successful superstar of our country is so humble and down to earth.

I love all his films and I am a die-hard fan of SRK and my favourite movie is DDLJ. I can watch it 100 times and never get bored.

ANSH BAGRI

He is what stardom is all about. SRK means stardom for me. In my lifetime, I have been inspired by only two actors: one is Mr. Amitabh Bachchan and the second is Shah Rukh Khan. I have watched them since my childhood. SRK has changed the meaning of romance for me. The way he does romance on-screen is very heartwarming. Whenever I feel low, I think of SRK being such a big star and how he is still passionate about his work and works hard to achieve that. I have worked with Sharukh khan as a background dancer in his movies when I was with Shamar Davar while shooting Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. I remember we finished that song in 4 days, we had a call time of 9 and he was there at sharp 9, on the set throughout the shooting and was standing and dancing. He has so much energy in him which should inspire us all.

Ssharad Malhotra

His ability to connect with the masses and the classes in a very original and unique style, has made him a global phenomenon. My most favourite SRK film is undoubtedly Dilwale Dulhanniya Le Jayenge. His character Raj Malhotra has already gone down in the books of history as the most epic and quintessential romantic hero of Indian silver screen. Also referred to as the God of love/romance and with his arms spread wide open it does get quite impossible to not fall in love with such an endearing and charming man.

SHUBHAAVI CHOKSEY

In Bollywood, my first crush ever is Shah Rukh Khan. I have had his postcards and pictures cut out from magazines as bookmarks in all my textbooks. I love to see him on screen and enjoy his interviews as he is extremely witty and knowledgeable. I respect him for the true superstar that he is. He is so good with his fans - so warm and loving! In my opinion, SRK’s drive and zest to always become better and do better along with his grounded nature have made him so successful! His hard work and intelligence to go global and think beyond are very endearing! I love him and always will.

SHWETA ROHIRA

I recently watched his interview with David Letterman on Netflix and he said today if he is a superstar, it is not only because of his craft or talent but because he is loved by people immensely. I agree he might not be the most talented actor in the world but he is the most loved actor. I think when you love what you do you are automatically loved by all.

Without any doubt, DDLJ is the most successful film in the history of Indian cinema. I am a romantic and a full filmy person, and DDLJ is all about romance, drama, love songs, etc. That's why it touched everybody's heart.

AMIT SARIN

SRK is an institution in himself. His ability to connect with people is remarkable. He is an example of someone touching people's hearts with her performances which is the key to stardom. I have been following him from his 1st tv show, fauji and he has left a huge impact on me. We both are November born and our number is 2.
He is 2nd November, and I’m 20th.
I loved DDLJ and Swadesh.
I had an opportunity to shoot with him for the show Zor Ka Jhatka - Wipeout and I connected with him as if we knew each other forever.

MOU DAS

There is only one religion in the world hard work, says Shah Rukh Khan. I have read and seen many interviews of his where he stated that he can work for 24 hours. That's the commitment he puts in for whatever he does. With sheer dedication comes success and stardom, his sharp mind and energy, even at 54 years, is outstanding and inspires many. As it's said age is just a number, so here's wishing happy birthday and lot more of energy to the powerhouse.
Many of his movies are my favorite starting from Baazigar and DDLJ to Jab Tak Hai Jaan so it's very difficult to name one but Kuch Kuch Hota Hai will be my favorite as it has some nice memories of my school days.

ASHISH TRIVEDI

Shah Rukh Khan, the name is enough!
A person who has been named the King of Bollywood has to be an inspiration for any kid who wants to make it in the industry.
He came with a dream to rule the city and became the Badshah. His compassion towards his work, family, and friends is what I think makes him the superstar he is today. Although he has done some really amazing work, my favorite is Chak De. The audience got to see that SRK can do anything. He has portrayed the character so well that we cannot picture anyone else. The character has so much depth to it.

SNEHA WAGH

SRK is the king of romance. His career journey from Delhi to Mumbai itself a success story. He is passionate about his work and personality. He is very humble which across on screen as well as off-screen.

Chak De is my favorite movie where he played the role of a perfect mentor.

ARUN MANDOLA

SRK is one of the most powerful actors in Bollywood and there are lots of things that make him successful. Firstly, he is very lucky. Secondly, he has powerful marketing strategies and his acting skills are very unique. So according to me, these reasons are making him successful. My favorite film is Ramjaane because he played an outstanding negative character in this movie.

SHASHANK VYAS

Mr. Khan is my inspiration, apart from being a super talented artist, he is a go-getter. His energy and philosophy has made him who he is today. Education plays a very important part too. He is witty, smart and a well-informed person.

 MREENAL DESHRAJ

I have met him many times and we have partied together (common friends). During Chennai express, we got to know him better.

He is a real gentleman, such a good speaker. He makes you feel so special like he will get up from his chair when you come, open the car door for you, remember your name and address you by it. We used to talk about fitness and lifestyle.
He doesn’t think like a star. He is still curious about what others are doing and how they are doing it. He’s constantly working to be better. He wants to be the best. Kuch Kuch Hota hai, Dilwale Dulhan lei Jayenge, Chennai express is his films that I love.

AVINASH MISHRA

Shah Rukh Sir is my inspiration and I have learned a lot of things from him. All the movies that he has done and all the roles that he has done have taught me so much. Whenever I think of a versatile actor, the first person who always comes to my mind is Sharukh khan. Whether it is emotional, comedy, romance or an action-packed movie, he is the man for the job. He is the king of romance and no one can replace him. I have learned a lot of things from him. I am doing a show Yeh Teri Galiyan in which there is a lot of romance and love and I take reference from his films. Whether in a shooting or is hosting an award function, he is so spontaneous. That is what I love about him.

 SUBUHI JOSHI

His attitude towards his work and towards his fans has made him the king. After so many years in the industry, he still makes an effort to excel to take up new challenging roles. But what I love the most about him is the love and respect he shows towards his mother, sister, wife, daughter and every other woman. He might be turning 54 but he’s so full of energy. Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na, Veer Zaara, and Chakh De India are my most favorite Shahrukh movies.

AASTHA CHAUDHARY

The one thing that I really like about Sharukh Khan is that he is from a non-filmy background. He had no godfather in the industry. A normal boy from Delhi, who came to Bombay and now he has become the king of Bollywood, this so inspiring. He is known all over the world. Recently, while traveling abroad, I had many people as me if I was Indian and then ask me about Shahrukh Khan. People knew Shahrukh Khan in every corner of the world. It is a very proud feeling. I always say he is a bundle of energy. No one can match his energy. the way he dedicates himself to his work is awesome. He is a crowd puller, a quality which you do not find in every actor.

My favourite movie of his is DDLJ, which I think in India is every girl's favourite movie because it has the best romance ever. The dialogue of that movie is on everyone’s lips.

We wish King Khan a very happy birthday!
