MUMBAI: &TV is all set to launch a new show called Mitegi Lakshmanrekha. The promo projects the show in a different light and is said to break the stereotypical barriers about gender inequality.
But sometimes promos could be misleading. Here’s why:
The actual plot will focus on Vishesh , who will fall in love with Kancha and decide to marry her. He would assume her to accept his proposal but little did he knows that Kancha has a dreadful past that she prefers to keep in the past itself.

Rahul Sharma and Shivani Tomar are the lead actors of this show. Rahul will play the role of ‘Vishesh,’ while Shivani will be seen in the role of ‘Kancha’.
Now that indeed seems exciting but the promo and the story line seems contradictory. Is the story about gender inequality or a girl’s struggle? Or are the makers trying to make the audience inquisitive about the plot by such a promo?
