Udaan actress Sheetal Pandya set to tie the knot with beau in November

MUMBAI: Though 2020 has been quite an uncertain year filled with many hurtful and bad news, things have started to get better and now, people have come to terms with the new normal post the COVID crisis.

Television actress Sheetal Pandya has decided to take the plunge and walk down the aisle with her fiancée. Sheetal is known for her stellar performances in shows like Udaan, Tu Suraj Mai Saanjh Piyaaji, Chidyaghar, among others.

TellyChakkar.com got in touch with Sheetal to know more about her marriage plans. The actress shared with us, “It’s a traditional Bengali style wedding on the 20th of November at the Westin Mumbai Garden City. We planned this theme as he's a Bong and I was keen on dressing up as a Bengali bride. The preparations are on in full swing with all the precautions being followed. Being a doctor, my fiancée Abhishek makes sure that the shop we go to is properly sanitized.”

“I'm feeling nervous, happy, excited, and anxious at the same time. I really can't believe that I'm actually getting married. I look forward to spending life with him,” she added.

When asked about her alliance with her fiancé, she said, “We actually have been schoolmates but weren’t exactly friends. We connected via Facebook six years ago and gradually became very good friends. He is a doctor by profession based in Leicester, UK. I liked how he would take a deep interest in my work, and despite being so different from each other we hold a deep connection.”

Recalling her first meeting with would-be husband Abhishek, Sheetal said, “Our first meeting was very funny. We had been chatting on WhatsApp for a while and then we decided to meet for coffee. I wore a nice dress while he dressed casual and did not even shave!! I still complain about it to him, but we spoke a lot that day, and he's very interesting to talk to. He showed interest in my work and by the end of the date he immediately asked when we could meet again.”
