MUMBAI : Puru Chibber needs no introduction.
He has been a part of this industry for a long time now and has an array for popular shows to his credit. He is best known for his work in Yash Raj Films' crime drama Khotey Sikkey on Sony TV and Sachin Deshmukh in television show Pavitra Rishta. He also starred in the movies Band Baaja Baaraat and Bhoomi.
Currently, Puru plays the role of Tejas in Rahul Tewary and Rolling Tales Production’s Udne Ki Aasha which stars Kanwar Dhillon and Neha Harsora.
In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Puru shared, “This show has humour with basic drama and it is relatable. All the characters in the show are given a lot of importance and that, according to me drives the TRP very well.
I am very happy with the show and we all actors are bringing so much more to the table and are on their toes constantly along with the entire team and production unit. Working with the team in sync also enhances your performance as an artist.”
Earlier, speaking about his character, Puru had mentioned, “Usually television shows focus on the storyline centering around the male and female leads but here there is importance given to each and every character. My character is justified and I must say that the production house is extremely good to work with. Actors are also very nice and so is the entire team from director to technicians to the production unit.”
