SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment’s Idiot Box, the division which takes care of television programming has made shows like Tere Mere Beach Mein and Ghar Ki Baat Hai. Now it is all set to make a new fiction show, called Ye Parindey - Impossible Ki Maa Ki Aankh, on Channel V.
We caught an interesting promo of the same. The show is about how a young gang of guys under 18, get involved in some crime intentionally or unintentionally. Their cases are then tried under juvenile crime.

Says a source, “Most importantly, it’s about how a guy named Jacky Firangi, who gets involved in a crime, due to which he loses his lover, Ruksaar and lands up in a remand home and how he tries to escape from the jail, forming a gang of six with the help of music.”
Adds the source, “Vaquar Sheikh plays the jailor of the remand home. He is very aggressive, cruel to the core, people fear him, but he is very smart and notorious, his character is called Vaghmare. He is never seen in his uniform in the show.” Interestingly, Sheikh played a cop in Kaali, a Star Plus show too.
Priyanka Bose seen in movies like Guzaarish and Love Sex Aur Dhoka, plays Maya in the show. She teaches music to the remand home inmates.
The gang of six has fresh faces like Sidhharth Shivpuri, who essays Jacky Firangi and his lover Ruksaar is played by Mamta Suri, Rohan Mirpuri as Sundar Bandwala, Rheyan Johri as Rustam Kapoor, Moses Kandara as Chota Packet and Ankur Panchal as Salim.
We also hear that, “When the makers approached popular GECs, the concept didn’t find too many takers when Gauri Khan decided to pitch it to Channel V which was then approved. The show was first titled as Chillar Room.”
When asked the reason for the show not being put on a GEC; Samar Khan, Head of Idiot Box says, “It’s nothing like that, we approached Channel V, and they approved the concept.”
The show starts telecast on January 21, on Fridays-Saturdays, at 7.30 pm.
