Varun Khandelwal to feature in Zee TV's Fear Files

We recently reported about the story of ‘banjaras’ to be aired on Zee TV’s Fear Files – Darr Ki Sacchi Tasvirein. While this episodic story will air this Saturday (15 February), the intriguing tale of a sculptor will be on air on Sunday, 16 February 2014. The central role of the sculptor will be played by known actor Varun Khandelwal who is presently seen in Zee TV’s Bh Se Bhade. The man Anant, essayed by Varun will be a creatively passionate man, who will sculpt ‘idols’ with utmost love and care. On seeing the affection shown by the sculptor, one such idol that he would have made will get life and turn into a ghost. The story will later on revolve around the ghost killing people. It will be for viewers to see whether Anant will finally end up destroying his own creation to save mankind. Noted actress Sujata Thakkar will play Anant’s mother while Rudra Kaushik will play the ghost. When contacted, Varun told us, “Yes, I am presently shooting for Fear Files. I essay the role of a sculptor who is very creative in his ideas. I have been given a simple look, with a plain kurta and jeans pant. I will also sport slight stubble, as creative people usually do not care about their appearance and look.” Watch this space for more updates.
