Saturday morning brought in tragic news. Veteran journalist and Editor-in-Chief of NewsX, Jehangir Pocha, passed away in Gurgaon this morning. Cardiac arrest is believed to be the cause of his demise.
Jehangir was an institution in himself in field of Indian journalism. A visionary who co-founded Indi Pvt.Media Ltd, Jehangir had worked in several prestigious positions before helming News X.
A Mumbaikar at heart, Jehangir completed his graduation from Mumbai before turning to Harvard from where he obtained a Masters degree in public administration.
Jehangir had worked with many prestigious groups including The Boston Globe’s Beijing where he was designated as the Asian correspondent. The veteran had also worked in the IT industry for almost a decade, holding management positions with start-ups and Fortune 500 companies in the US and Singapore. He had also held the position of the Editor at Business World before he shifted loyalties towards setting up News X.

Jehangir's last rites will be held at 6.15 PM at Nigambodh Ghat.
