Vidya "Dirty Picture" Balan excites TV stars

When promos of Vidya Balan’s bold and buxomy dance steps hit the screens, many could not help but form an opinion that The Dirty Picture is nothing but another run-of-the-mill movie replete with sex and sleaze. The so-called ‘pseudo-protectors of the morals of the society’ and wrinkled critics were geared up to attack and jeopardize the film’s fate. But this Friday, 3 December 2011, Ekta Kapoor – the film’s producer – proved everyone wrong. After watching the movie, everyone said in unison, ‘wow’, some in voice and some with expressions. All those critics who had their inks ready to write-off Vidya for accepting such an audacious role, showered praises on her. They even said that Vidya will win all the Best Heroine Awards this year. The movie has received raving reviews from across quarters. Many actors from the TV industry also watched the movie and shared their views on Vidya’s performance. This is what Gurmeet Choudhary had to say. “I watched the movie yesterday and I absolutely loved it. Hats Off to Vidya for pulling off a role like Silk. It’s not easy for established actresses to perform such bold scenes. And the flow of the movie was superb. Vidya was looking smoking hot and super sexy.” Abigail Jain could not stop praising the well-endowed beauty, Vidya Balan. “I am the biggest fan of her. I can watch the movie for more than hundred times. She was awesome. I mean, there is no actress in the industry who could have pulled off the role. The dances moves, the bold scenes, the vulgarity, everything was so perfect. If I ever get to play a role like that, I have to convince myself a lot before saying yes.” Like, Gurmeet, Mohit Sehgal also thinks that Vidya looks super sexy in the movie. “It’s not only about the sexiness, but also about the strong story behind it,” said the handsome hunk. Hina Khan said that Vidya has always been a fantastic actress and she has done a fabulous job in her latest movie as well. But when asked if she is keen on doing a role like Silk, she said, “No, I won’t. There is no specific reason as such, But, I won’t.” Sadly, Giaa Maanek kept too busy with work and did not get time to watch the movie till now but she has finally booked tickets for tonight’s show. “Well, I am going to watch the movie tonight. I am dying to watch it. But from the promos, reviews and opinions of my friends, I think that I am up for a blast. On a serious note, I think Vidya has lots of guts to act in a movie like The Dirty Picture. She had to put on weight and show belly tyres. I have to think a lot before saying yes to a role like that.” Well, Manish Raisinghania went crazy to watch the film. The actor, on not getting a seat in the theatre –as it was house full – pataofied the usher and watched the flick sitting on a staircase. “Yea, can you believe it? I, along with my friends, watched the movie aaramse sitting –and sometimes lying down – on a staircase. Vidya was superb in the movie. I don’t have to say anything. The verdict is already out. It’s a smashing hit.” And the actor signed off with this suggestion for everyone. “If you have not watched it yet then please go ahead and book tickets and enjoy one of the finest performances by any actress. You will love it thoroughly.” Well, Manish we have booked our tickets and we are out of this place in a jiffy to witness sizzling Vidya on screen!!!
