Vipul Roy, who showcased his skills as a host in Ghar Ghar Mein and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa will be back in action soon as a host of a new reality show. But it will not be the standard musical talent hunt or quiz-based shows that we see, Vipul will be the host-cum-chef of a cookery show! The show is part of Sanjeev Kapoor's soon-to-be-launched cookery channel. It will be a 52-episoder with Vipul talking about recipes, his personal life and his lifestyle. Apart from this, the suave actor is also scheduled to start shooting for a travel show. He will search for the best hotels and spas in India for the show. But why so much focus on hosting? Is he not looking at acting at all? Vipul replies candidly, “If hosting is giving me the money and creative satisfaction, what is wrong with it? Plus, all the daily shows currently being telecast on television are dominated by female protagonists! Where is the right role for me? I guess with few good hosts around, this is a high growth area,” he signs off. Well, we hope soon the ‘right’ role finds you too!
