SAB TV’s Saheb Biwi Aur Boss actor Vipul Roy is a big foodie and loves gorging on yummy food while on the sets. The actor believes that good food is instrumental in uplifting the mood and swears by his favourite mutton dish.
Recently, the actor and the production team of his show decided to dish out a mouth-watering mutton gravy for the entire crew. The team ordered for 10 kgs of mutton and Vipul decided to tie an apron and take on the mantle of a cook for the day.
The outcome of Vipul’s cooking session was so delicious that the entire cast and crew were seen singing his praises. The entire team came together for lunch and it was decided that Vipul would be cooking mutton for them once every fortnight.
Shared Vipul, “I’m considered to be a personal chef for everyone on my set. Resham, Druv, Mugdha, Supriyaji and I make sandwiches, cold coffees and pastas for them. Anytime anyone feels hungry on the set, they come and tell me that they are hungry…This means that they expect me to cook for them. (Laughs) and like a true Punjabi, my love for food is something that I reckon with. When my co-actors got to know about my love for cooking, they urged me to cook for them. That is when I decided that they should taste my famous mutton gravy. The end dish was so good! I’m glad that the entire unit enjoyed eating it and I have decided that I would be cooking more often for the crew on the sets.”
Now, with Vipul donning the chef’s hat on the sets… hopefully, the cooks don’t run out of business!
