Viren Singh Rathore is happy being 'Fawad Khan' of TV

Young lad Viren Singh Rathore is simply enjoying his role similar to that of Fawad Khan in the recently released movie, Kapoor and Sons. As per the ongoing plot, Viren plays the role of Ricky Nanda, the handsome, macho man guy who happens to be the best friend of Riya (Swati Kapoor). Further, Riya will use him as her trump card to make Karan (Aakash Talwar) jealous. Viren who has worked in shows like Shapath, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke and Itti Si Khushi, is happy to be part of this youth based show Mastaangi. “I am enjoying playing this character. Kapoor and Sons released recently, and it is a blessing in disguise that I play a role similar to that of Fawad’s in the movie. It’s fun to be playing a role that will make the lead jealous (smiles). All this will also end up in my character getting into a fight with Karan.” However, there will be a twist in the tale, is what we hear. When asked about it, Viren told us, “Yes, as of now we are focusing on the friendship angle of Ricky and Ria, and also on the jealousy factor growing in Karan.
