We recently broke the news about Balaji Telefilms bringing a new show tentatively titled Bhagyalakshmi on Zee TV. The show will be a love story of an educated doctor and a village girl. It will revolve around a simple and loving girl getting married to a millionaire, who doesn’t believe in fate. She will be heartbroken to know that their union is only a treachery by their families.
As per the latest development, we hear that noted actor Virendra Saxena, who is known for his role in and Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin, has been roped in for the show to play the heroine's father.
We had exclusively reported that makers have shortlisted a few actors and one of them is Monal Gajjar to play the female protagonist.
Balaji Telefilms currently produces list of shows namely Yeh Hai Chahatein on Star Plus, Kumkum Bhagya, Kundali Bhagya, Brahmarakshas 2 on Zee TV, Molkki and Kuch Toh Hai: Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein on Colors and Prem Bandhan on Dangal TV.
