The actress has been missing in action for quite some time. Talking about how she spent her time during the lockdown, the actress says, “For most actors, four months lockdown was a break. For me, yeh lockdown thoda pehle se hi chal raha tha as I was at home for the last two years. So, lockdown did not affect me actually. I was one happy soul taking a break from work.” From lay-offs to pay cuts, the COVID-2019 pandemic has become the bane of employees across industries, including the television industry. Shilpa says, “Everyone has rested a lot in the last four months. Now, as we are back to work, our makers and production houses are trying their best to get going. In such a scenario, we cannot afford to complain about pay cuts. We need to adjust to the circumstances and accept that it’s a teamwork.”
