Wedding masala on SAB TV's Lapataganj

It is the band baaja baarat season on SAB TV. There was a big hype around Gadhaprasad’s wedding with Nagin in Chidiya Ghar. Now, the channel will churn out another wedding, rather a punar vivah (re-marriage) sequence between Indumati (Sucheta Khanna) and Mukundi Lal (Rohitash Gaud) in Lapataganj. Viewers have already witnessed the comic fight sequences between Indumati and Mukundi Lal over a buffalo. Bereft and agitated, Indumati has gone on to stay at her mother’s place. Now, in the coming episodes, a Panditji will suggest Indumati and Mukundi Lal’s re-marriage. Reason? While taking the holy nuptial vows for the first time, some rituals were not completed precisely, hence the need to tie the knot again. Every Lapataganj vasi will get super kicked about the wedding and post the nuptial ceremony, issues will sort out between Indumati and Mukundi Lal. When contacted Rohitash Gaud he confirmed the news and said that “the wedding sequence will be a very funny one.” We are sure it will be…Rohitash!!!
