MUMBAI: Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma is one of the most loved shows on television.
All the characters of the show are very popular and the episodes are relatable to the society. Among the many characters is Dr. Hathi who is a doctor and it is not only the patients that he treats but gives small pieces of life lessons for us to learn. From Jethalal to Tapu Sena and all the other members in Gokuldham, this character is the most grounded amongst all and he is a delight to watch. Some of his dialogues are very popular specially his takia kalam, 'Sahi baat hai'.
One of his dialogues was "Waha wo bahut kasrat karvate thee, aur kasrat karne ke baad aur bhook lagti thii. Isliye pehle se jyada wazan badh gaya.” When he was on a weight loss journey and he rather gained weight than loosing it. He also imparts sharing food for he loves it so much. He often tells his son, “Haan haan, le jao beta. Hamesha mil baant ke khana chahiye. Sabko khilana.”
