MUMBAI: Roadies fame Shreya Kalra's video of her dancing on the zebra crossing went viral recently. Shreya shared the video on her Instagram reels and soon she was trending as ‘Indore girl dancing on zebra crossing’. But the video did not go well with the authorities.
Narottam Mishra, the Minister for Home Affairs, Law, Prisons, and Parliamentary Affairs, instructed police to initiate a complaint against her on September 15.
Later, Shreya Kalra apologized in front of the media and informed that she was fined Rs 200. The Roadies fame actress also spoke to ETimes about the case. She said,“I had to apologize in front of the media and say that this wasn’t my intent to influence anybody else to follow the same thing because it is risky and dangerous”.

Shreya also mentioned how she received a lot of hate on social media. She also explained that she has seen videos about traffic rules in other countries and people in India fail to obey the traffic rules. She also mentioned that she never anticipated that her video would turn into such a big deal and I got a call from the police inspector.
Shreya also said, “They wanted to have a chat with me in front of the media. I started getting calls from media houses and a lot of things happened in 3-4 days. I have made many videos but never thought this video will go viral in a negative way.”
Shreya Kalra came into limelight after she posted a video of her dancing on the zebra crossing. Shreya also stated that this was the first time something like this had happened to her and that she was terrified.
