When Madhuri Dixit slapped Jay Bhanushali on DID 4

When Madhuri Dixit slapped Jay Bhanushali on DID 4
On hearing the news of Madhuri Dixit’s visit to the sets of ‘Dance India Dance season 4’, the men on the show could barely contain their excitement. And the front-runner of the pack was none other than show’s host Jay Bhanushali. No sooner did the Dhak Dhak girl set foot on the DID floor (Zee TV), than Jay decided it was time to do all that it takes to win her attention. So, when Jay showed her a clip from Prem Pratigya where she slapped Mithun Da, Dada sprang up with a special request for Madhuri! Instead of repeating history, Dada wanted Madhuri to create new history by slapping Jay just like she slapped him years ago. Visiting the sets of DID for the first time ever, Madhuri had not mentally prepared herself to slap either Dada or the show host … so she didn’t know where to look. Given the bait that Madhuri would at least end up touching his cheeks this way, Jay happily agreed to being slapped by the beauty and ran over to her side. Mimicking a slap, Madhuri gently landed her hand on Jay’s cheek. Loving every bit of it, he immediately offered her his other cheek. Seeing Jay enjoying the slaps, Master Mudassar and Master Feroz ran to be slapped by her too. While Madhuri pulled Master Mudassar’s cheeks and called him a “baby”, she instantly recognized Master Feroz from their previous work together. It turns out Feroz was a background dancer in the song Kay Sera Sera and there is a part where she punches him in the face as a part of the song’s choreography. While the two spoke of their memories of shooting the song, Jay insisted that the two shake a leg together on the same song. From dancing behind Madhuri to dancing “with” her on the same song, it has been quite a journey for Master Feroz. Feeling choked, Feroz said, “I had always hoped to be a choreographer some day and sharing the stage with Madhuri ma’am today, I feel like I have accomplished something … there’s a long way to go but the journey has definitely begun … I’d like to thank God for his blessings.’ The audiences are sure to enjoy these lively interactions just as much as the judges enjoyed themselves while shooting the episode. The episode will air tomorrow (14 December) at 9pm.
