MUMBAI: A lot of celebrities visit The Kapil Sharma Show to promote their projects and recently, Shahid Kapoor was seen on the show as he laid out some fun facts about his personal life and also shared some anecdotes which are sure to tickle people’s funny bones.

Kapil asked Shahid if he was waiting for his vaccine appointment as he came on the show after a long time. The host then joked about Mrunal and said that she had asked him to find a suitable guy for him but she keeps coming back to him. The actress blushed.
Kapil goes on to tell Shahid that he shoots for 40-50 days. He then hinted at his show and said that this gareeb aadmi only has this. Shahid laughs and said, "Jis din Kapil Sharma gareeb aadmi hogaye, yeh desh duniya ka sabse ameer desh ho jaayega (The day Kapil Sharma becomes poor, India will become one of the richest countries of the world)" This left the audience in splits.
He also talks about his daughter Misha and says that a lot of times he gets calls from Mira's number and when he picks up the call he realises that it's Misha who called him. He added that Misha doesn't wait for Mira to call him, she instantly picks up her IPad and dials his number whenever she wants to talk to him. After this, Shahid adorably said that whenever her daughter calls, he doesn't care about anything happening around him and wants to be with her at the moment. He says that is the best feeling as a dad.
The actors talked about their upcoming film which made Kapil pull a few jokes. Kapil made fun of the title 'Jersey' and said that if the movie would've released in summer, it would have been named 'Baniyaan (vest)'. He kept asking questions to Shahid and Mrunal about their movie and said that Archana Puran Singh was curious so he is asking questions on her behalf.
To this, Shahid instantly replied that it looks like Kapil is obsessed with Archana. He said, "Aap inke andar na bas chuki hain aur ab phoot phoot kar baahar nikal rahi hain (You have made your home within him and are now coming all out).” He continued and mimicked Kapil calling out to Archana’s husband Parmeet Sethi in her style with a loud “Parmeete”. Everyone shared a hearty laugh.
Mrunal and Shahid praise each other. Mrunal said that she truly adores her and is blessed to have him in her life. Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda entered the stage and were dressed up as Dharmendra and Sunny Deol respectively. They talked about their struggle to get a bottle of milk. Kapil showed pictures of the actors in the Post Ka Postmortem segment and read out the funny comments made by netizens on their pictures. Shahid and Mrunal laughed out loud after hearing those comments.
Shahid recalled the time when he first met his father-in-law. He shared that he met him while he was shooting for his movie 'Udta Punjab.' Sharing the incident, he said, "My character in the movie Udta Punjab was quite different and I coloured my hair at that time. Mira's father wears formal shirts and pants, he has a very neat hairstyle and shaves every morning. He continued and said, "When he saw me for the first time, the look on his face clearly stated the thoughts like 'who is my daughter marrying to?' 'What kind of a boy is he?' So, now when I go to meet him, I comb my hair properly and he gets happy".
