When a stranger turned into a friend

A page from the personal diary of Yashashree I’ve always heard that life is full of surprises but I didn’t know that I will experience it so soon in my life. People come and go in our life but what stays back is memories. I can never forget this particular incident as it made me believe in life even more. I am a very friendly person and I make friends very easily. I had just joined the Hindi television industry and it was six months after I had started shooting for Rang Badalti Odhani. I used to often travel by train and during and on one such day I met a stranger who is now one of my closest friends. It was 1.45 am and I boarded a local train from Goregaon station in Mumbai. There was nobody in the train except the two of us. I went and sat next to her and after some time we started talking to each other as there was nobody else we could talk to. After some time the conversation became interesting and we liked each other’s thoughts. This 45 minutes of journey became one of the most memorable experience of my life and in no amount of time this stranger called Subhashini became one of my closest friends. I can also say in just 45 min Subhashini and I totally connected with each other. Today we share every thing and even if she doesn’t belong to my profession we still remain in touch. She is not only a friend she is also my critic. She gives advice, she is a helping hand and she is always there for me whenever I need her. When I am not shooting we often hang out together, go out for shopping, late night movies, we also party together. On holidays we even visit each other at home and share our intimate thoughts. The best thing is that not only her but even her brother has now become a close friend of mine. Subhashini works with a BPO in Mumbai and she is the one who always plans on my behalf. I just hope this friendship blossoms with each passing day and we remain friends forever.
