A page from the personal diary of Rahil Azam Hello everyone, this is Rahil Azam whom you know as Malik Khan of Hitler Didi on Zee TV. Today, I am here to share some of my personal thoughts with my viewers. I have my own reservations against this star system on television, Frankly speaking, there are no stars on television; we are all actors who are trying our best to entertain you with our performances. I know that the film industry is all about stars about whom cine goers talk about anytime of the day. As far as I know, the daily show business is all about consistency where every single person on sets carry an equal importance. Without the input of everyone around, it is highly impossible for any show to be successful. But nowadays the actors take away all the credit. And behind all this is the media because they portray us (actors) to be the real stars. There are people in this field who still have that sustainability of doing numerous shows and prefer in keeping a low profile. These are the actual personalities who are unheard of and unseen too. Very few people know what exactly is the TRP all about while for the people who are in the field, the rating doesn’t really matter in the real sense. The real hero is the one who does numerous shows playing different characters. It is he who is the one who is showing his talent by way of different avenues. For me, I don’t really understand the real scene behind newcomers throwing tantrums on sets. I fail to understand as to why such things are tolerated just because they charge less. I believe that the most important aspect of any show is its script; it is the only the superstar of any show. Actors are just the ones who execute the script, no matter how good or bad they do, it is the words that count the most. And, the one who puts in their personal best effort, turns out to be the protagonist of the show. For me, my USP of success is my confidence as long as it is alive in me; nothing can stop me from being successful. I really feel privileged when people recognize me as Hatim, the character that I played; this is what makes me proud. I for one believe in breaking my own image and not to fall in the category of consistency. People remember me for my talent and personality on screen. Making of standard shows is on the wain. See, howsoever hard work the producer, director or actor puts in, it is the luck that counts for the show to be successful. Nowadays, we call it a big achievement if any show runs for eight months on television. Acting is of prime interest to me and I enjoy being on sets. If my director is happy with my work, then my day becomes worth living. I don’t bother about TRPs; the person who called me and is happy with my work is important to me. If you are being selected from among 200 to 300 actors, it’s an achievement on its own and, if you don’t play loyal to the opportunity then you are the biggest fool. So guys, this your Rahil who is now taking your leave. But, I will soon meet you with some interesting news.
