If rumours are to be believed then Behenein may get a new slot. We had reported earlier about the channel planning to wrap up the show after its contract expired but now the channel has a new strategy and is thinking of shifting to a noon slot. A source says, “Our contract with the channel is going to get over this month, however since the show is fetching good numbers (approximately 3 plus), the channel is planning to experiment with the slot by putting it out in the afternoon. Things are in the initial stages at this moment but for us it is good news because it is not ending.” Producer J. D. Majethia says, “Nothing is confirmed as yet, you will have to wait for a few days to get a clear idea on it.” Another source adds, “UTV’s upcoming show Dor may get Behenein’s time slot from February 14, the makers were keen to have a prime time slot and thus the channel is currently looking for an option. If everything goes well then it will get the 8.30 slot.” Rohini Hattangadi who is part of Dor confirmed this and says, “The show will get a prime time slot and it will start in the second week of February but we have not been informed the exact time.” Meanwhile, Shreya Creations’ remake of Jab We Met, titled Love You Zindagi has started shooting with Pavitra Punia in Wai; this will be a weekly one-hour show. It may get launched along with Neela Telefilms’ Pyaar Mein Twist and Wife Bina Life by this month-end. Sheel Kumar of Shreya Creations says, “Yes it will be a one-hour show for the weekend slot but the launch date is yet to be decided.”
