The TV industry is abuzz with tales of Jassi Jassi Koi Koi Nahin returning to the fore. What was earlier just a mere speculation turned out to be true when Jassi (Mona Singh) herself revealed this to us. Says Mona, “Tony and Deeya Singh (producers) did inform me of their desire to bring Jassi back. They told me that they will be having a word with the channel (Sony) but thereafter I haven’t heard anything from them. ” Would you be keen on returning as Jassi? Mona replies, “Why not? It’s just not me but the entire cast is keen to have the show back. Though, I won’t be returning as the ugly Jassi. After all, Jassi had a makeover. If the show is to come back then it obviously if resume from where it left off.” Despite repeated attempts, Tony and Deeya Singh remained unavailable for comment. Meanwhile SET creative head fiction Sanjay Upadhayay rubbished all such news.
