Winter delays shoot of Ajai Sinha’s new show

Delays, postponement have become the order of the day for television, especially in the aftermath of the strike. However, producer Ajai Sinha had to face other external factor that has delayed the shoot of his untitled show for NDTV Imagine. Apparently, the chilling temperatures in Chandigarh have forced the production house to alter their schedule. An actor from the show says, “We were supposed to start shooting earlier this month. However, the cold temperature in Chandigarh has delayed the shoot. We needed to start shooting for the first 20 episodes but I don’t think we’ll begin till the end of January.” Confirming the news of the delay, a reliable source from the production says, “Yes, it’s true the current weather in Chandigarh has caused a delay in our shoot. We’re hoping to commence shooting by end of January. As a result, the show’s launch has been pushed further.” Meanwhile actor Bhuvnesh, who was to play one of the leading roles, is out of the show. When contacted, Bhuvnesh said that he’s no longer doing that show but didn’t give the reason for his refusal. However, the word emanating from the production house is that Bhuvnesh was never the right choice for the role. Bhuvnesh is replaced by Akshat Gupta, who is seen in Grihasti. Those who are on board this show are actors Zarina Wahab, Neelu Kohli, Adi Irani and Lalit Parimoo. This show is a tale about two girls, played by rookie actors Toral Rasputra and Farzana. Akshat Gupta will play the love interest of the two girls.
