Pretty and intelligent actor Pooja Gor, who impressed us with her performance in Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya, is back again with Life OK’s latest venture Roshni (Pulse Media), where she will be seen playing the titular role.
As we got involved into a conversation with Pooja, she spoke about opting for this show. “I find this series to be interesting and different one. This show is not one typical daily soap drama rather it is more about real life struggle. Many of my family members are from medical background and I have seen their responsibilities in saving someone’s life. Moreover, satisfaction of doing a good work is more important than TRP ratings for me, hence I gave a nod to this project.”
So, what was the reason for not taking up any daily soap after Pratigya? “After Pratigya I intentionally took a break from daily soaps for couple of years, so that I could enjoy some quality time with family and friends. At the same time I was continuing with episodics and hosting, to balance personal and professional life.”
For the newest medical drama we heard that a vigorous training was provided to the team and when we quizzed about the same to Pooja, she replied, “A training session was provided to make us acquainted with medical terms and the basic knowledge about the equipment. And to comment honestly about the same, it was indeed difficult for me to prepare for my role and learning about medical science. But I believe that thankfully I have been able to do that in a convincing way.”
As the young lady is all set to share the screen space with veterans like Raghuvir Yadav and Amol Palekar, we also asked about her experience, and Pooja shared, “Definitely it is pleasure for me to work with them. I have learnt so many things from them and even after being such experts they are yet so humble and down to earth.”
As the pretty talent gears up for her upcoming daily, we wish her all the success.
