MUMBAI: The episode starts with Mehta asking Popat, Anjali and others how their trip has come to an end and they would have to settle back into their routine at home. Anjali reminds Taarak of the diet he would have to follow once they return. Taarak gets upset at this.
Gokuldham residents return home and are welcomed by Iyer, Hathi and Abdul. A woman from the travel agency comes to check on them. They all thank her for a great trip. After she goes, Jethalal tells them that Asit Bhai must be regretting sending them abroad, looking at their expenses. They all laugh. Iyer asks them about their trip and Jethalal tells them that they all enjoyed a lot, especially Bhide, who forgot all about his secretary duties.
Bhide then notices the board on which he writes the ‘thought of the day.’ Iyer then tells everyone that Abdul was the one who would write it in his absence. He gets praised by everyone. Anjali gets excited to go to her house and manage the kitchen. Bapu Ji tells Jethalal to first take the luggage from the cab and then asks for his pouch which he had given to him. Jethalal is unable to recall where he had kept it. This makes Bapu Ji upset.
Jethalal looks for the pouch in the cab. Meanwhile, Bhide and Iyer comment on his carelessness. Bapu ji rues giving the pouch to Jethalal and laments that it had his passport in it. Iyer says something which then irks Jethalal and the two end up fighting. They all look for the pouch again until Tapu points out that it is with Bhide. Bhide tells him that it is his bag and shows them the passport. It actually turns out to be Bapu Ji's.
Madhavi then recalls something and gets their handbag. She finds Bhide’s similar looking pouch in it and tells him that she had kept it inside. Bhide tells her why she didn’t tell him earlier. She replies that she thought he must have taken it out. However, to everyone’s great relief, the confusion is sorted and nothing is lost.
Jethalal continues to taunt Bhide for the act as he tells everyone that the latter did it deliberately to prove him irresponsible. Bhide asks Jethalal not to stretch the matter. Before leaving, Popat thanks the Gokuldham residents for standing like a rock with him during difficult times.
