Yashashree Masurkar gained popularity for her amorous scenes with Karan Tacker in Yash Patnaik’s Rang Badalti Odhani. Recently, she was seen matching steps with Mohit Malhotra in Nachle Ve with Saroj Khan season 3, but the duo got eliminated in the first round. The beautiful lady has been working hard and of course, only work and no fun make Yashashree super bored. So, like a true adventurer, she packed her bags, wore her boots and hit the road to get a taste of North India.
“I planned a trip to Delhi - Agra - Mathura along with my friend Tanvi, who works as a stylist in Zee TV’s Hitler Didi. But she got busy with work. But that didn’t stop me. I embarked on the journey all alone. I left on 11 December and returned to Mumbai on 20 December. The days in between were super fun.” smiles the Marathi mulgi.
Furthermore, the actress shares the experience when she saw the Taj Mahal for the first time. “I wanted to see the monument early in the morning. So I left my hotel at 5.30 am. But it was too foggy and I had to wait till 8.30am before I could get a glimpse of it. It was majestic. One has to see to believe it. It cannot be expressed in words,” narrates Yashashree.
And that is not all. A charming girl as she is, she made a few friends on the way. “I was looking for the exact location at the Taj Mahal where Katrina and Imran shot for the movie Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. In the process, I met and made many friends. One friend whom I will remember all my life is Suzanna. She is from Germany and studies in Ahmedabad. She was also there to witness the magic of Taj Mahal.”
Now, stars have less time and they prefer flying than boarding a train. But one has to be in a train to understand how the word “fun” is associated with “journey”. And Yashashree absolutely knows about it.
“I booked a train ticket from Delhi to Mumbai to have a blast but it never got confirmed. So, I went to Mathura instead and explored the city of Kishanji. I also did a lot of shopping in the holy city,” says Yashashree.
We know you had great fun on the trip. We are kind of jealous, but never mind, all that matters is your happiness. Finally, the actress bids adieu with these words, “I want to go on many such trips. I hope I get the time to do it.”
Amen!!!
