MUMBAI: Star Plus show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has taken an interesting turn with Abhira and Anshuman calling off their wedding. While viewers anticipated a much awaited reunion of Abhira and Armaan, the shocking twist left the viewers stunned. Armaan married Geetanjali leaving Abhira in tears.
That's not all, another shocking incident took place in the show and Anshuman played by actor Rahul Sharma marked his exit from the show. Anshuman suffered a heart attack and died.
As actor Rahul Sharma's track ended in the show, the production team made sure to give the actor a heartfelt farewell. Producer of the show along with the entire cast gave a surprise to Rahul. He cut the cake and also received a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
Taking to Instagram, Rahul shared many pictures from his journey in the show and wrote, "This is the hardest part of any journey to say good bye to a beautiful show , to an amazing character , to the people who gave you so much love and warmth on the set .
I never knew when i started this journey ,that ANSHUMAAN will Receive so much love and warmth not only from from the beautiful and lovely souls of our yrkkh set but also from The beloved audience."
