Despite that, Rajan cast him as Armaan as the producer was very sure of his vision. The actor thanked the pioneering television producer for giving him the wonderful opportunity.
In the same interview, Rohit Purohit admitted that his wife Sheena Bajaj is his greatest support. The actor said that Sheena gave him that comfort and space, which is the reason he can accomplish anything. In terms of TRPs, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai continues to lag. The show is currently ranked third on the TRP ranking with a 1.9 TRP, although Rajan Shahi's show still has a way to go.
