Happy endings are what we are used to.

However, there have been a few projects which had some beautiful endings without the leads being killed off so that the show moves to another generation or takes multiple leaves.

Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi

After Dev loses his father at a young age, he gets very attached to his mother. However, his mother dislikes the woman he loves and keeps him in a position where he must choose between the two. The ending showcases that when Dev finds out he has a daughter and has raised her to be a loving parent, he is ecstatic. For the sake of Suhana's happiness, Sona and Dev agree to spend a week each in each other's homes. Ronita was married to Saurav, Sonakshi's brother.

Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai

In Ahmedabad during the 1990s, Sameer and Naina, who are classmates, happen to cross paths. After that, as their love grows into a romantic relationship, they get close. With Naina and Sameer achieving success in their lives and jobs, the story comes to a happy ending in 1998.

Ek Hazaron Main Meri Behna Hai

Jeevika and Maanvi, two orphan sisters from Rishikesh, have completely different perspectives on life. They overcome every challenge because of their unwavering love for one another. The show concludes with Manvi naming her daughter Jahnvi, Jeevika names her daughter Mansi. It is also disclosed that Jeevika is expecting. With the entire family present, the show comes to a joyful conclusion.

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?

A wealthy business magnate named Arnav believes Khushi ruined one of his events, so he sets out to destroy her reputation. For the atrocities she did not commit, the latter suffers in silence. After disclosing Sheetal's scheme to extract money from him, Arnav and Khushi adopt Aarav. Later on, Khushi enters a beauty competition because she wants to make an identity for herself. She goes on to win it with the encouragement of Arnav and his family, and they live happily ever after.

Pyaar Ka Dard Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara

Aditya, who was reared in a joint household, marries Pankhuri, who hails from a wealthy but dysfunctional family. They fight together to overcome obstacles and bring their family back together. With Pankhuri being pregnant and the entire family getting back together to celebrate, the episode concludes on a cheerful note, realising the late Purushottam Dewan's constant wish of having a happy and cohesive family.
