MUMBAI: An evergreen and pure legend in the world of music, Kishore Kumars’ son, Amit Kumar graced the sets of Indian Idol 12, brightening up the evening more than ever before! The top 14 contestants were thrilled and overjoyed on his arrival, making sure that they deliver one of the best performances of their life! 

Clinging on to the same desire, Arunita Kanjilal, delivered a flabbergasting performance, leaving the judges, audiences and Amit Kumar stunned. He complimented her by saying, “You have a heroines’ voice! You have the potential to become the next Shreya Goshal, keep it up!” 

Jumping onto the bandwagon of praises, Indian Idol’s own and the supremely talented, judge Himesh Reshammiya also said, “In today’s world, you are not a playback voice but a superstar's voice! You have tremendous potential in you! There are more than 5 lakh singers out there, not everyone have a voice like yours, you have a voice that is very very unique and rightly pointed out by Amit Ji, you can be the next Shreya Ghoshal!” Deeply touched by these positive words of encouragement, Arunita exclaimed saying, “I cannot really describe my feeling in words today, I am more than happy to have performed in front of Amit Ji, it’s truly an honor!”
