MUMBAI: Bigg Boss 19’s latest time-based task became a test of not just focus but also temperament. Contestants were asked to silently count 19 minutes in their heads while others distracted them with taunts, truths, or sharp personal comments. While most housemates opted for direct jibes, Zeishan Quadri’s approach was notably different.
During the task, Kunickaa Sadanand tried to break Zeishan’s concentration with a pointed remark about his most famous work, saying: “Gangs of Wasseypur bahut achcha likha, magar afsos ki baat yeh hai ki aapne usko apni life mein extend kar diya. Aur fir Bigg Boss tak bhi le aaye.” The comment directly mocked the project that brought Zeishan recognition.
However, instead of responding in kind, Zeishan chose silence. He continued with the task without making the situation personal. Later, when it was Kunickaa’s turn to count, Tanya Mittal approached Zeishan and asked why he wasn’t going to distract her in return. Zeishan’s reply reflected his unwillingness to escalate matters.
He said: “Mat bhej mujhe. Abhi bahut sunaya aur suna dunga khaamokha. Tune apna dil halka kiya?” When Tanya agreed she had spoken her mind, Zeishan ended the conversation on a lighter note, even jokingly asking her: “Toh kaun sa political party socha hai aapne?”
The exchange highlighted Zeishan’s decision to stay away from unnecessary mudslinging, despite being at the receiving end of repeated remarks during the week. His ability to deflect tension with humor instead of retaliation stood out in an episode otherwise filled with heated distractions.
For many viewers, this moment reinforced Zeishan Quadri’s reputation inside the house — as someone who may not always agree with others, but chooses his battles carefully and often prefers wit over conflict.
