2014: Wonder Kids of Indian Television

2014: Wonder Kids of Indian Television

Kids are ruling television, there's no doubt about it. From their sweet antics on screen to thought-provoking child issues, we have seen many wonder kids this year. Here are the top ones from the lot. Take a look:

Ruhaanika Dhawan as Ruhi Raman Kumar Bhalla (Yeh Hai Mohabbatein)

The little girl forms the turning point in the story. From showering unconditional love on her step-mother to chiding her father for being arrogant and uncaring, the cute girl makes us our hearts melt.

Spandan Chaturvedi as Chakor (Udaan):

She has everything going right for her on the show. With a believable body language and an adorable accent, Spandan is the most sought after kid on the small screw right now.

Shivansh Kotian as Naksh Singhania (Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai):

He is the adorable little boy who binds the Singhania family together. With his chubby personality and sweet smile, the little one has made a name for himself like no other.

Divyam Dama as Ayaan Anshuman Rathore (Tumhari Paakhi):

Even though his role is to dislike the female lead of the show, we loved his antics. He has a change of heart, sure...but he starts off with a massive hatred for his onscreen mother.

Roshni Walia as Ajabde Punwar (Maharana Pratap):

With her innocent smile and expressive face, the little girl made an impression on the masses. Even when she was having a tiff with Pratap's other suitor Phool Kunwar, she kept her dignity and elegance intact.

Faisal Khan as Young Maharana Pratap (Maharana Pratap):

He was as feisty and brave as a real raja would be. From horse riding to sword fighting, Khan proved his mettle as an actor.

Ashnoor Kaur as Najma Tauseef Baig (Tum Sath Ho Jab Apne):

This pretty girl is a TV veteran, which shows. As Najma on the popular drama series, Kaur delivers a powerful and memorable performance.

Rakshit Wahi as Waqar (Tum Sath Ho Jab Apne):

Giving Kaur a run for her money is Wahi as the cherubic Waqar. His onscreen antics keep us all entertained and we can't get enough of him. Can we?

Dev Joshi as Baal Veer (Baalveer):

He lives up to his screen name as the fearless child warrior. Even when he is pitted against the most ferocious of antagonists, he holds his own.

Drishti Hemdev as Misthi (Pavitra Bandhan):

The bubbly girl is a treat to watch on the screen. We love her animated gestures and childlike behaviour. Don't you guys love it too?

Avneet Kaur as Khushi (Hamari Sister Didi):

The show was not much of a hit with the audiences, but Kaur's chirpy act and her dramatic expressions made the show watchable.

Mitansh Gera as Shaurya Singh Rathore (Doli Armaanon Ki):

His cute and charming acting skills won us over, despite the show not being about his character. We loved that about him, no?

Vishal Jethwa as Jalaluddin Mohammad Akbar (Maharana Pratap):

He might be playing the negative lead, but the spunky boy delivers a cool performance. Just like Khan, Jethwa has also worked on his body and skills to play the great ruler.
