Keeping a show together is the prerogative of the anchor. If he/she fumbles, acts boring or fails to keep us entertained, the show ultimately loses TRPs. 

But our favourite bunch of anchors need not worry because they have all done a great job this year…we round up the top anchors of this year. Take a look: 

Salman Khan:

He has had a brilliant year at the BO, along with hitting gold on the small screen. His charm, body language, style, and bindaas attitude ruled our hearts and TRPs this year. In fact, we can safely say that it’s Sallu’s charm that’s holding Bigg Boss together. 

Arbaaz & Malaika Arora-Khan:
Following in the footsteps of his brother is Arbaaz and his wife Malaika. The ultimate power couple of Tinselville took their crackling chemistry to the small screen this year. Their natural avatars, coupled with their love for each other make Power Couple a hit show. Don’t you think so? 

Rithvik Dhanjani: 
The dashing actor-dancer gave girls sleepless nights with his anchoring stint on Nach Baliye. His easy camaraderie with fellow-anchor Karan Patel totally upped the fun quotient of the show. 

Asha Negi: 
Even though Indian Idol was Asha’s maiden innings with anchoring, the actress did a great job. She not only took hosting pointers from boyfriend Rithvik, but also brought her vibrant side to the show. 

Manish Paul: 
The funnyman can make any show a livewire. His antics not just make us his biggest fan, but also make us appreciate Jhalak Diklaa Jaa more. Can we have more of this wonder boy in 2016 as well?

Sunny Leone: 
The hottie sure set the screen on fire with her raunchy outfits and infectious smile on Splitsvilla. She played the perfect host by lending an ear to the contestants and also acting as their friend and guide. 

Rannvijay Singh: 
The baap of reality series, Rannvijay also happens to be a good host. He pushes the participants to their limits. With Roadies becoming a trademark youth show, it’s not much of a surprise that Rannvijay is a huge hit with the audience.
