Talented Ashlesha hails from Pune. Her father is in the Air Force. After completing her schooling she has shifted to persue her modelling career. Then she started training for the Gladrags contest. When she was auditioned for Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, She was in second year B.Com. She took a break from her studies and didn't pursue for T.Y B.Com as Ashlesha wanted to do Balaji's most popular show KSBKBT (Star Plus) and Kammal (Zee TV). Then she got shortlisted for Kya Haadsa Kya Haqeeqat. She also essayed the role of Dev's wife in Des mei Nikla hoga Chand and also Tara in Saath Phere.
