MUMBAI: The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar, is one of the most anticipated films of the year and is slated to open in theaters in December. The Archies will mark the acting debuts of Suhana Khan, the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, Agastya Nanda, the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan and Khushi Kapoor, the daughter of Boney Kapoor.
The film has a strong cast that includes Yuvraj Menda, Aditi 'Dot' Saigal, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina and others. The Archies is a coming-of-age musical that follows the lives of Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, Ethel and Dilton while transporting viewers to the fictional hill town of Riverdale. The Archies examines themes of freedom, heartbreak, friendship, love, and rebellion from the perspective of the unique Anglo-Indian community.

The Archies gang has been making headlines for their promotions as people are really admiring the young actors being so cordial with each other and taking the responsibility of promoting the movies in various places.
However, one thing that we have noticed, is that it’s not just the emotional understanding that the actors have for each other but they are also color coordinated when reaching for an event, be it Tudum Film festival in Brazil or Manish Malhotra’s Diwali bash.

The Archies, which is directed by Zoya Akhtar and features Reema Kagti, is funded by Akhtar and Kagti under their own banner, Tiger Baby Films. The film is set to premiere on Netflix on December 7.
