MUMBAI :Arista Mehta has left a strong mark with her performance as Safina in the web series The Night Manager. The series stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Anil Kapoor in the lead roles, but Arista’s character is one of the most pivotal parts of the storyline.

What responses are you getting for your performance in The Night Manager?
The response has been great, I didn’t expect so much. This is the first time I have got such a great response. On Instagram, everyone is posting stories and DMing me. So, it has been wonderful, and even my family watched it and they all loved it.
How was your experience of working with Aditya Roy Kapur?
Initially, I was a little scared, you know what if I take too many takes, and what if I am not able to pull it off? But, he is someone who is very supportive and he is very warm. On the first day itself, I got very comfortable with him and we had a really good bond. Now, also I call him Aditya or Adi, I don’t call him Aditya sir or Aditya Bhaiya because we just have a very casual and comfortable relationship with each other. So, it was amazing.
Is there a disappointment that you didn’t get a chance to share screen space with Anil Kapoor sir?
Yes, that was something I was a little upset about because it would have been great if I did a scene with Anil sir and shared the screen with him in any way. But, at the end of the day, it was okay because the response that I got, has just balanced it out. However, I was a little put back that I was not doing any scenes with him.
The first part of The Night Manager was released on 17th Feb 2023. The second part will be reportedly out in June this year.
