MUMBAI : The first promo for the highly anticipated and controversial reality show Bigg Boss OTT 3 was unveiled by its makers on May 31. Salman Khan, a well-known celebrity, has so far been linked to Bigg Boss. However, this season, Bigg Boss OTT's forthcoming season will be hosted by Anil Kapoor, another well-known Bollywood star. Arjun Kapoor promptly sent his uncle a heartfelt message on Instagram following the news.

A few hours ago, Jio Cinema offered viewers an official first look at Bigg Boss OTT 3's host. Fans expressed their excitement in the post's comment section as soon as the Anil Kapoor promo was released on the channel's social media platforms. Along with admirers, actor Arjun Kapoor, Anil Kapoor's nephew, also sent best wishes for their uncle's forthcoming exciting journey as a reality show host.

Arjun Kapoor reposted the Bigg Boss OTT 3 promo on his Instagram story, and praising his uncle, he wrote, "King of New!! He's always doing something different to keep all his youthful peers on their feet!!"

Actress Sonam Kapoor, the daughter of Anil Kapoor, also wished the Animal actor wishes on his next project in addition to Arjun.

Salman Khan stepped out of the hosting duties this season and some the Bollywood celebrities, such as Karan Johar, Anil Kapoor, and Sanjay Dutt, were speculated to host the season was already rumored. Now, finally, the makers have locked Anil Kapoor.

Rumors of several celebrities being approached for Bigg Boss OTT 3 have been doing rounds since last month. The popular news portal revealed that Rohit Kumar Chaudhary, popularly known by his stage name RCR and having been a part of reality shows like MTV Hustle and Dil Hai Hindustani, is in talks about entering the controversial reality show.

In addition to Rohit, Bigg Boss OTT 3 participants have also been approached, including YouTubers Vivek Choudhary and Khushi Punjaban, as well as Cheshta Bhagat and Nikhil Mehta from Temptation Island.

Filmmaker Karan Johar hosted Bigg Boss OTT 1. The first season trophy of the digitally streamed show was lifted by Divya Agarwal. In the previous season, Salman Khan acted as host of Bigg Boss OTT 2. Elvish Yadav, a wild card competitor, took home the season's prize, while Abhishek Malhan finished as the first runner-up.
