MUMBAI: Falaq Naaz is a known personality on television and these days she is grabbing the headlines for her participation in the reality show “Bigg Boss OTT Season 2” where the game is being liked by the audience.
Her friendship with Avinash is spoken about in her fights with Abhishek, but she has a contestant who doesn’t break down.
She was seen as a strong contestant but then later on her game fell down a bit and she couldn’t voice her opinions and take a stand which backfired her completely and she was eliminated from the house owing to lack of votes.
TellyChakkar got in touch with her and asked her why she never stood for the wrong things that happened and did she call Abhishek Gay or Janani.
You have always said that you will stand for the wrong things that happen in the house but there were many circumstances like when Bebika was body shamed.
With Bebika whatever happened, I would say it was Bebika’s fault as when we have fun she crosses the line. The problem was that until they were friends the humiliation and fun stuff was taken well, and then they used this during the fights and titled it body shaming no one knows what to say, I have told this many times to Bebika that when she makes fun with Abhishek I stopped her and told her when they will fight she will use this as a weapon against each other and that’s why I didn’t say anything as both were at fault.
What about Jiya – Elvish's case and Manisha’s character being degraded in the house?
By the time I came to know about Jiya’s matter, she was already feeling guilty and I told her that if she had told me about it I would have stopped her but she has already realized her mistake and I thought there was no use pushing the matter. Whereas for Manisha, it was her fault only when she told that she wasn’t doing well and wasn’t seen, and hence she was back doing crazy stuff like she wanted to win back Jad’s trust but should she have just played her game.
Did you call Abhishek Gay or Janani as that was spoken out on social media?
I never used this word, in fun I just said it and that was the tone. He didn’t have such a problem with the word, then why are others having an issue I don’t get it. If you call a girl a tomboy does she feel bad? It's about traits like how a girl would be a tomboy the same way a guy can also have traits of a girl like they also gossip and all, so that was the meaning of it. Janani is not a word to get offended by, even though I was called so many things, but I didn’t make an issue of it.
Well, there is no doubt that Falaq Naaz was turning out to be a strong contestant but then her journey was over as she was eliminated by the contestants and the audience’s votes.
