MUMBAI: TellyChakkar earlier broke the news that writer, director, and producer Sachin Gupta is coming up with short films under his banner Chilsag Pictures. The project will star popular actors Shubhangi Atre and Subodh Bhave. The filmmaker who has given us movies like, Paranthe Wali Gali (2014), Pakhi (2018), and Mansukh Chaturvedi ki Atmakatha (2019) is now all set to entertain us with an anthology series comprising five short films.
In an exclusive chat with us, the filmmaker revealed that these short movies will first release individually and later the anthology of these five movies will see a theatrical run. And sharing further details, he revealed the title and the cast of these five movies, which are as follows:
1.Dryfruit Ka Halwa
The short movie titled Dryfruit Ka Halwa will be directed by Sachin Gupta, which will have Shweta Tiwari and Rushad Rana in the lead roles.
2.Phoolchand ki Phoolkumari
Earlier we had shared the information that Subodh Bhave will collaborate with Sachin, and apart from him, we will see Priyanka Lulla and Purvi Mundada in a project titled Phoolchand ki Phoolkumari.
3.Naintara ka Nainmatakka
The next short film in the list is Naintara ka Nainmatakka which will have Kunal Jaisingh, Pooja Banerjee, Priyanka Lulla, and Shivani Singh.
4.Untitled
The filmmaker Sachin Gupta adds that his next short film is yet to be titled. It will star Dharamendra, Zarina Wahab, Priyanka Lulla, and Nakul Sahdev.

And talking about the fifth movie, the director said that he still has to shoot for the fifth movie. However, the shooting may start anytime soon, and the cast of the movie is yet to be finalized.
So, these five projects will be releasing next month and in April on the YouTube channel “CHILSAGPICTURES" and later on other OTT platforms, (first individually and later as an anthology). Adding further, the director said that he is aiming for the theatrical release too anytime soon.
Well, this indeed is exciting news for all of us to see such an amazing cast in a single project, and we look forward to the same. Apart from this anthology, Chilsag Pictures also has a movie coming up titled Shivansh.
