MUMBAI : Barun Sobti has been ruling OTT this year. The audience has already seen him in series like Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke, Asur 2, and Badtameez Dil, and now, he is all set for his new show titled Kohrra which will premiere on Netflix on 15th July 2023.

Are you nervous as Kohrra is all set to premiere soon on Netflix?
I am pretty confident about it and not nervous. It’s just that I have a screening tomorrow, and I have to meet a lot of people, so that gives me anxiety. I am very confident that when it comes out, I think it will be great.

Which is your favourite scene in Kohrra?
Actually, very weirdly there’s a jinx I have; any good project I have done in my life and I am proud of, my favourite scene has never made it to the final cut. My favourite scene is always cut out, so this time also it has not made it. But, there are quite a few favourite scenes. The show has a lot of dark comedy and I am a fan of dark comedy, so my favourite scenes are the ones which have underlined comedy happening.
How was it to work on Netflix?
Netflix is a dominant platform when it comes to streaming services. So, that’s a good feeling to get a chance to showcase your talent to the world on such a huge platform.
