Actress Sauraseni Maitra says she is really grateful to the makers of the show for giving her the character of Mehrunnisa, she adds this indeed most layering character and she is a very strong and ambitious girl, it was great meeting Mehrunnisa.

Sauraseni Maitra says it was great feeling to collaborate with great people including the cast and crew, it was a larger than life experience, and she adds that when you have talents like Naseeruddin Shah, Zarina Wahab, Sandhya Mridul and others, you learn every day she says.
