MUMBAI: Indeed one of the most loved and followed stars of Indian cinema is Raveena Tandon. It is always a treat to watch the actress on screen and now, she is all set to be seen in the upcoming OTT series titled Karmma Calling, which will stream on Disney Plus Hotstar.

Earlier, we got to watch the teaser of the series and the audience felt intrigued by it as everyone started wondering how the series will turn out to be.

Later, the creators of the series released the trailer wherein we can feel the intensity rising. The trailer shows how the series is based on revenge and Karma, as in the consequences of actions.

Devangshi Sen has made her debut with Karrma Calling and we got into an exclusive conversation with the actress where we talked about her desired actor, director, her love for acting and much more.

Desired actor and director

On this, Devangshi Sen said that in terms of director she would love to work with Zoya Akhtar as she feels really moved every time she watches her movies and after watching the movie, she is always thinking about the movie, what it taught her and how it affects her. In terms of actors, her all-time favourite actress is Alia Bhatt as she thinks she represents cute girls and has greatly inspired Devangshi by doing such great stuff and shows so much power in her performances while she levels in projects and there is so much she wants to learn from Alia.

What makes you fall in love with acting?

On this, Devangshi Sen said that storytelling has always been important for the most part of her life as she always kept moving and felt a lack of stability with requirement to adapt which is why she finds comfort in movies and books. Devangshi calls movies and books as her safe place and finds magic in watching movies as she can escape. Devangshi Sen expressed how she finds it difficult to make friends, fit in with people and adapt to a new country and culture as she would always be standing out which is why she felt like home when watching movies as she felt relaxed. She revealed that she did a lot of musical theatre while growing up. Adding an important point, she mentioned that countries can change, schools can change, and everything can be different but the people who do theatre have love for theatre which is something that can never change and will always be strong.

Upcoming projects

On this, Devangshi Sen said that since she is not allowed to reveal too much, she is going to be a part of another OTT series which has an element of music which means that she will get a chance to dance in it. She expressed how excited she is about the project as she will get to explore this side of her as well.
