MUMBAI: Mehul Nisar, an esteemed actor with a lasting presence, has contributed significantly to the entertainment industry over the years. His involvement spans television and film, starting with his debut in the 1998 TV series "Hip-Hop Hurray." 

Notably, Mehul has maintained a strong association with Rajshri Films, engaging in successful collaborations on projects such as "Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli," "Pyaar Ke Do Naam: Ek Raadha, Ek Shyaam," and "Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki."

Seen playing the role of Bhavesh on Anupama and now he has made his return on Palkon Ki Chaaon Mein 2 as Mamaji.

TellyChakkar reached out to the actor to talk about the show, his character, and more!

How are you feeling going into the 5th season? 

I suddenly feel old now. Jokes apart, it always feels great when your show gets into a new season. It only shows that the audiences love it so much that they want to see more.

What can the fans of the show expect from this new season? 

Well, it's a continuation of the 4th season. So whether Manik and Nandini get back together? Or the misunderstandings will take over their relationship and keep them hanging in space like before?

For this, the fans will have to watch season 5.

What is your character up to in the new season? What can you tell us about the new storyline? 

Well, my character of Venkatesh Murthy from season 1 has been a loving and caring chacha to Nandini. In this season, I get more protective about her being not married and living with Manik. My only aim throughout this season is to get Nandini hooked on Manik.

How was it getting back with the team? 

Getting back to the team was like coming back home.

We’ve been seeing each other's faces for the last 9 years, so it was pretty cool and exciting to meet the cast again and shoot with them.

Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan season 5 will start streaming on JioCinema in 5th September.
